Dengue is a mosquito- borne viral infection, found in tropical and sub tropical climates. It is the most common arboviral illness in humans now days in Pakistan. Bleeding often occurs when dengue virus became severe. Bleeding can be from mouth or nose. This stage occurs when you have severe dengue virus. This severe stage occurs when your blood vessels become damaged and leaky. Number f platelets in your bloodstream drops and can lead to internal bleeding, organ failure and even death. If you see this sign then immediately go in hospital in emergency.

Prevent dengue fever

If you note these symptoms and take treatment early you can control this disease. But idf you don’t take treatment immediately after the diagnosis of dengue it will be difficult to control it because there is no specific treatment for it.

What should you eat in dengue fever?

Your diet is very important in dengue fever. Here are some foods that are specific in dengue fever. Take the food that is rich in vitamins and proteins. It will make your immune system better. It is Important to take healthy food, rest and drink enough.

  • Take eggs
  • Take fruits rich in vitamin c
  • Take pineapple and kiwi
  • Drink milk
  • Take beans
  • Drink juices as much you can
  • Take papaya leaves water
  • Take coconut water

What should you not eat in dengue?

Here is some list of food that you should avoid it. You must avoid that food which lower the blood clotting and make your blood thinner. Then blood can cause bleeding stage so must avoid these foods that are listed below.

  • Avoid almonds and walnuts
  • Avoid apple, melon, peach, strawberry and grape.
  • Avoid pepper, garlic, onion and ginger
  • Avoid cucumber potato and tomato
